Someone favs my work and I'm like yay! Then I notice it's a 15 year old boy with a fav gallery full of porn-ish amateur home shots of sleeping girlfriends and the like.

lol well to be fair the nude pics of you done by UniqueNudes were pretty good... however I was more pleased to see you as an artist on here. Seeing what you post as an artist is somehow more rewarding as it identifies you as a person.

I often wonder if people looking through my favs see the art or just a middle aged pervert. If any one asks I point out that 'sexual energy is not to be misused'... which for me means you dont waste those sorts of thoughts on someone who doesnt 'dig' you right back with that same sort of energy. to the best of my knowledge no one I have faved is 'warm for my form' so I focus on the art of the shot (some are for 3d form for my sculpting, others because the energy of the model captivates me- a small spark of humanity on film)

For myself I noticed that a lot of gay men have been checking out the nude pic of me. Its kinda flattering I suppose... though I have to keep repressing the urge to update it with a new nude pic of me (I was about 280 in the pic and I am down to 216 now lol). I'm not gay myself but vanity seems to come with losing 60+ pounds !!!

By nature I am a notorious hoarder. And I'm probably something of a hoarder here at DA. I collect because so many pieces form just about any medium can really grab me by the proverbials and put me under a spell. Or when it comes to art, I'm so easily pleased with what I see Another important thing (probably most important) is the way my faves are on display in a context of other works which maybe says interesting things.

I know the feeling. I just try to not think about it as much as possible ... and those that do have favorites full of art and add one of my peices more than makes up for the dirty ones!

My favorites tend to be full of things that get a reaction from me at first glance. I don't think about them, but if I have a *WOW* moment, into the collection it goes!

i really appreciate finding myself in someone's favourites gallery when it's full of really interesting things, so i would agree that it makes up for the other "ugh" experiences.

i think the context is really the defining factor. most people i know here have eclectic favs galleries, myself included.

Ugh... Okay, your description describes what happens to me perfectly. And now with the collections system, they make it even more obvious they're porn collectors when you get messages like "pervert#23749 has added your picture to their collection "HAWT NEKID BABES"".
